1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with Example Number Plates, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before ordering.

2. Products & Services

We supply replacement number plates that comply with UK DVLA regulations and BS AU 145e standards. All plates are manufactured for road-legal use only.

3. Documentation Requirements

Under UK law, we must verify your entitlement to use a registration number before manufacturing plates. You must provide valid documentation as specified on our website. We reserve the right to refuse orders if adequate documentation is not provided.

4. Pricing

All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT at the current rate. Shipping costs are additional and displayed during checkout. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but this will not affect orders already placed.

5. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering via our secure Stripe payment gateway. We accept major credit and debit cards.

6. Order Processing

• Orders are processed once payment is confirmed and valid documentation is verified
• We aim to verify documentation within 24 hours of receipt
• Manufacturing typically takes 1-2 working days after approval
• Orders are dispatched the same working day once manufactured

7. Delivery

We use Royal Mail tracked services for all deliveries. Delivery times are estimates provided by Royal Mail and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service.

8. Returns & Refunds

Due to the bespoke nature of number plates, we can only accept returns if:

• The plates are faulty or damaged in transit
• We have manufactured the plates incorrectly
• The plates do not meet legal specifications

You must notify us within 7 days of receipt. Returns must be made within 14 days in unused, original condition. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned items.

9. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before documentation is verified. Once manufacturing has commenced, cancellations cannot be accepted. Contact us immediately if you need to cancel.

10. Warranty

We warrant that plates will be free from manufacturing defects for 12 months from purchase. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from accidents, or improper installation.

11. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Fines or penalties incurred from using plates we supply
• Indirect or consequential losses
• Loss of use of vehicle
• Claims exceeding the purchase price paid

12. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring the registration number you order is correct
• Providing accurate delivery information
• Ensuring you have legal entitlement to use the registration
• Proper installation and maintenance of plates
• Compliance with all UK road traffic laws

13. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you consent to our use of your data as described.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including designs, text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Example Number Plates and protected by copyright law.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
